Globally the trend of look out for low energy generation cost is also visible, we see relatively larger economies investing into renewable resources or are in the hunt for cheaper sources of fuels. The overall figure of various types of waste based fuels imports has increased 10 times in the last couple of years. In Europe alone the import of such fuels in year 2023 stood at a gigantic total of US $5.87 Billion.
A similar resource is available in abundance in Pakistan in the form of crop residues in the fields after harvesting the main crop and removing the easy to collect Biomass, which practically is burnt and is a major cause of increased AQI (Air Quality Index) which is playing havoc in Pakistan and has been a major source of SMOG & other environmental impacts.
AESP has a vision to collect this biomass, process and convert into standardized fixed heating value high density fuel.
This can be a game changer for most of the Power/Energy and climate issues in Pakistan.
